Your arrangements file
Everything you have entered in the sheets, your setup and the chapters you marked done, in one place. Export it as a file you keep or send, import it on another device, or print the whole file.
For a first pass after a death, the essential sheets are calls, decisions and what we found, facts for the death certificate and documents, the task list and expenses, the price comparison and statement check, benefits, the service plan and order, the notice and the notifications log. The rest can wait. If you are planning ahead for yourself, start with my own wishes.
The export file holds your setup, every sheet, the chapters you marked done and your notes and highlights. Send it to the person who takes over, or keep it with the papers, and send it only to people who should see all of it. It never contains a Social Security, account or policy number unless someone typed one into a sheet, which the sheets ask you not to do.
Browser storage is convenient and fragile. It is cleared when you clear site data, is empty in private browsing, is not shared between browsers or devices, and can be lost to browser updates or storage limits. Export a copy whenever you have entered something you would hate to lose, and print the sheets you rely on.
What is in your arrangements file
Printable arrangements file
A read-only rendering of every sheet, in contents order, for printing or reading through. Edit each sheet on its own page. Empty sheets are skipped.
The arrangements file records your plans, your notes of what others told you, and your decisions. It is not a contract, a will, a legal statement of who decides, or proof of a benefit. Where a sheet records an answer from a provider or an agency, the record is yours; the answer is theirs, and their written statement governs.
